National hunt for six stolen Shetland New Forest ponies
The six free-roaming ponies were thought to have been stolen from the New Forest earlier this month.

It's probably worth mentioning that there was a large encampment of travellers in the area at the time. They've moved on, still local, but they aren't there, as it's been checked. Somebody reported seeing a sheep trailer loaded with ponies, not locally at all, so they could really be anywhere now. 6 Shetlands, who aren't usually there, should be quite conspicuous, but it seems not.

It looks like two similar Shetlands have been found in Hillingdon in the last 30 minutes. No confirmation from the owner it’s them but could be.

Heartbreaking article about the owner of these stolen shetlands and how the 2 recovered ones aren't doing that well. Also about other attempted thefts/interference in the same area at the same time.

Those poor ponies I really hope the remaining ones are found soon. There's a couple of large traveller drives in the forest this weekend. Unauthorised l, but of course nothing will happen as they terrorise not only their own horses, but the ones living on the forest.
