60x20 arena for hire in Lancashire???

A lot of the affiliated tests I have lined up over the summer are in the long arenas and there is only a 20x40m one at the livery yard I am on.

I was wondering whether anyone knew of any that were available to rent by the hour in the Lancashire area. I live in Chorley myself, but am willing to travel but hopefully not too far.

My friend hires Myerscough - I'm sure that will be big enough for you (!) .....I don't know how much it costs and she has to go after college hours but give them a ring.......

The outdoor is plenty big enough and it's about £25 per hour. Split it with a friend and you're laughing.

What bout Osbaldeston? Not good on sizes sorry but seems quite big 2 me, think it's quite reasonable 2.

I only have a 20x40 arena but do tests in the long arena nad don't really have a problem. It's just a case of getting your head round the markers!!! School due to be re surfaced and extended soon!!! Yaaaay.

I haven't had much practice in the long arenas so would like to hire somewhere and have a go first... may ring Osbaldeston.

Can only think of Croft Top Haslingdon or Osbaldeston.
Always remember my old instructor saying that if I could ride the test in a small arena at home then I'd find the same test easy in the bigger arena. It works, the 60 x 20 seems massive.

When i've hired Myerscough's internationl arena, it was £35 per hour. I went on my own. Cant remember if that was for up to 2 horses, or just the one. It wasnt too much more for extras though.

Church farm? They have a 3 arenas there now, two look at last 60x20m. Not too far either!

have you got a local riding school maybe that you could ask? you will have to be flexible on times but might work out cheaper that hiring somewhere like at myerscough and be less travelling?

Yes that is what I was thinking, but no they do not have one unfortunately that would be suitable for the hours I am hoping to use it (I work you see so cannot be that flexible unfortunately)

Arkenfield's outdoor is bigger than 60x20 and available to hire pretty much anytime you want. It was £20 for an hour last time we went.
