This is written on my phone, which has a life of it's own and a whole new vocabulary!!!! So sorry for any errors!

I am sitting in a hotel in Cardiff, what a lovely city, love the castle. Last night I saw the wonderful Colm Wilkinson in concert ( Les Mis star) I had a wonderful time,a nice meal, pleasant time with oh and his Dad. They plan to wander around city all morning and then go home. Is it wrong of me to want to shoot home and try and fit in a ride? I know my horse doesn't care.

Noo i never go anywhere because i need my daily horse fix! I havnt had a holiday in 17years! Non horsey people dont understand

Are they going home to the same place as you? If so, then I would wander the city too and take the opportunity to spend more time with them. Your horse will not mind a day off and there is always tomorrow.

However, if you are going home to a different place than them, then maybe I would leave and fit in a ride.

I used to be like this but to be honest, much as I miss them when I'm away, it's nice to just have some time without having to worry about animals or responsibilities- in my opinion anyway.

Your horse will still be there tonight and tomorrow. Just enjoy yourself and relax. Cardiff is lovely (I live there now) and I wish I got to see more of the city but I just don't have the free time as it's spent with horses and dogs. Ironic, really.
