Hi all. Looking into buying a 6ft 3 heavyweight combo ( or could have separate neck). Would like a large neck and a large tail flap. Can anyone recommend any please?
As cheap as possible!! Realise I will need to pay for what I want though. What’s your budget?
Have a few old swish rugs. Will look again.Swish equestrian
All the gallop rugs I bought leaked after about a year so I stopped buying them, mine do live out so they take a battering but they are in when it's torrential.I rate the Gallop trojan xtra rugs, especially at their price - their tail flaps might not be quite big enough though:

Thank you. Do you find the necks nice and long, so when horse ears he still has protection to his ears?I bought two shires Highlander Plus rugs this year. 1200d outers and they are lovely.
Have a look at Hope Valley Saddlery’s Horseware rug sale.
I think HVS also had some cheaper jumpers Horseline or something turnouts for about £40/50 but can’t remember exactly what they were.
They also had some black Loveson turnouts also 1200d really cheaply.
With the highlander? Yes it’s long. Perfect on my Welsh D pony and also my TB, fits both types!Thank you. Do you find the necks nice and long, so when horse ears he still has protection to his ears?
Yes I’d say they are a decent length, (unlike the cheaper tempest I also tried- really short neck!)Thank you. Do you find the necks nice and long, so when horse ears he still has protection to his ears?
Slightly better prices if you shop around rather than direct oddly!Annoyingly, the best I’ve had is a Premier Equine. Which wasn’t overly cheap.
I love the discs!! I have one houseware and the neck is really short!Horseware, best quality ive came across, however i hate the discs at the front i avoid rugs with them
