Hi can anyone recommend an insurance company to go with?
I've filled out loads of online quote forms to be told we will get back to you with an amazing price and ......... I'm still waiting do they not want to sell insurance if this is their pre sale service I'd hate to see what happens when you make a claim
This is my first time of insuring the lorry after trading up from a trailer tbh I'm thinking of going back to a trailer much less hassle
 
I called KBIS as my horses and trailer are insured with them. Got quote on the phone, fully comprehensive on 7.5 tonne for less than I pay for my trailer.
 
I insure everything including truck with SEIB. To be honest it's much quicker to pick up phone to a few companies as they often quote you better deals than those online questionnaires.
 
I went with Anthony Evans, cheapest for me as under 25, and they were good on the last box when it broke down twice. Fully comp and any driver over 25 plus me, and it still costs less than my car.
 
I never bother with the online forms as I'm sure I'll miss something and not get the right quote, pick up the phone and talk to any of the 3 above, all really helpful although I usually end up with a policy via Julie Andrews, John and herself have suffered many a query on what will it cost to insure call from me and are always helpful?
