Hi,

Launching a plea for help here, need a 7" bit for my boy and I must be looking in the wrong places because I'm struggling to find one. Anyone here got any ideas who/where sells them? I asked at my local tack shop and they seemed to think I might struggle to get one, but surely there must be other horses out there who have wide mouths?

Any pointers very much appreciated!

Ta muchly

I know where to buy 6.5" bits as own a pretty giant horse myself. What horse do you have that needs a 7" bit out of interest!

£57...eek..thats a wee bit more than I was expecting :( thanks for the info though I'll have a look, may end up pm'g you my order whilst consuming a large class of wine to numb the pain, lol.

I've tried E-bay, the only thing they have atm in the UK is a nasty looking twisted snaffle.

JessPickle, he's a TBxID with a randomly big mouth! I've tried a 6.5inch a mate loaned me and it was just too wee :(

I have a small cob (barely 14.2 hh) - but he needs a 7" bit too. Currently using a loose-ring snaffle, but he sweats badly behind the rubber bit guards - still a furry monster for the winter. Anyone know where to source eggbut or similar snaffles to suit him better? Thanks!
