7 inch bit

crikey that has gotta be some horse to need that size bit. i believe you can have them made to measure when they aren't in the 'usual' size bracket

i have found some american sites which sell 7" bits not sure if you would be able to import them. are you after a particular type of bit?

but love her to bits, i sent her to stud but she didnt take, i would have loved a foal from her but it wasnt to be, she was in ireland as a broodmare before i got her.

There is a 7 inch bit for sale on ebay.

My horse takes a 6 1/2" he is also a clydie x. x with a highland. Clydies are known for having fleshing lips and big tongues.

I am sure that a full draft horse would take this size, such as a shire or a very large full clydie.

Put it on ebay - my horse takes a 6 1/2 and because I had serious bitting/braking issues I have a massive collection of oversize redundant bits! I am still making my way through selling them! But they always sell on ebay as extra large bits are so hard to come by, and so expensive when you do come by them!

Blue horse equine does some, but very limited in variety. The bit bank also does a limited range or Abbey will make to order. If you search for draft horse bits there are quite a few American sites, it's a bit pricey but at least you get to buy the type you want.

Thanks guys, im looking for a cherry roller, ebay has nothing and neither does big blue equine :/ ideal rather not get hand made if possible x
