I don't know what is going on I have always used the term t.b as has everyone in my yard and my 2 yards before that. I have contacted administration to check my details. I am waiting on them emailing me back. I don't understand why I am getting questioned just because I use a term that everyone I know uses. I loaned flora for few months and when I went to yard just before Christmas the owner gave me first refusal for a very good price. I know a lot of people that got a new horse/pony and as I previously said I thought t.b was a shortened term as the term has always been used around my yards.I am sorry if I have offended anyone.Dont think this forum is for me. Thanks to everyone who have gave me advice on my last posts.

The suggestion on the introductions thread is that the OP is an existing poster who has been being criticised on other threads for what she is doing with her horses. The reason given is that both posters use the term t.b., not TB, and have described similar experiences of being bolted with by a very recently obtained t.b. after loaning for a few months.

FlorasMummy is your horse a grey ex racer mare who you bought just before Christmas without riding or seeing her ridden? If not, just stay with the forum and people will realise that other person is not you.

I too looked at the first post and thought I had the name of the other one (the one with the grey mare ex racer who rides round with no reins) wrong, as it seemed like the same person.

I am not sure what you have contacted admin for? When I signed up there was no ID check, so I don't know how they could check your details. I believe (but am happy to be corrected) that the best they can do is say that the person has accessed the web site from a different location, not that they are different people (unless admin has some secret service clearance):D

I am sorry if you feel you are being mixed up with someone else. If it IS a misunderstanding then once you have been here a while it will all be set straight. It is customary for new people to post a picture or two of your horse so people can welcome you properly. We like a photo or two.

The best security check yet the OP s thread can be understood!!!!

Why....Oh Why.....let this drive you out.......t.b or TB or Through Bred....I know what your talking about.....in my years of being on here I have seen forum members driven out....because they don't fit the mould.....this should be fun.....have to admit not been cleared by admin ever.....well not yet.:(

Good point!! But looking at your posts OP I can see why people might think you were also the other poster. You both got ex racers straight off the racing yard just before Christmas, both have posted about switching the mare to chaff and and you both wrote about being bolted with on mounting. But in a forum the size of this one that could probably described a fair handful of people. The other poster stirred up quite a bit of ill feeling - possibly intentionally. Like you they write t.b rather than TB and you have used the contracted u rather than you - as have most of us from time to time.

Sometimes these things happen on a forum. The best thing is to put it behind you. The best proof that you are not the original poster is to just stand your ground. (And actually if you re the original poster the best thing is to hang on too - they were given some good advice even if they didn't like it.)

Any written response is devoid of emotional content and the non vocal sub text many depend on for communication. That can make it easy to both give and take offense where none was intended. A slightly thick skin is needed sometimes. Hang in there.

Edited: cross posted. I was referring to Popsdosh's point....

I don't know what's going on but calling your horse a TB is an ok thing to do .
The Poster that people seem think you are is I hope making everything up ( well I hope she is for the horses sake ) .
Just keep posting in a sensible way .
Welcome btw.
