8 week old puppy already needing rehoming!!! **Head desk moment**

Stupid bloody breeder for selling them the pup in the first place too

Millie's prevous owner, got her as a puppy from the breeder, decided she bites and is unsocialised with cats and dumped her at the rescue centre. They only kept her a week!!

Now we have and she has always been a very sweet dog. Has never shown signs of agression to anyone.

I'm trying to send the link to a friend on my FB, but it's playing up, as she lost her 2 year old Labrador to a brain tumour last week and can't bear the house being empty.

I'd love her to take him on. He'd have a wonderful home with her.

I'm wondering why she cannot return the puppy to the breeder? If the breeder has refused to have the puppy back, then stupid bloody breeder!

I thought that too.

Maybe she would be ashamed to admit she can't cope?
Not condoning it, by the way.

I know it is not a comparable case (I should bloody hope not!!!) but we sold on two older puppies to very good long-term homes where they stayed till the ends of their lives rather than take them back to the breeder.

Some people just don't think things through. Am sure they tell the breeder everything the breeder wants to hear. No doubt the breeder is totally unaware.

I worked with someone who had 2 lovely cats, from kittens until about 4 years of age, then decided to get a puppy. Within 2 weeks they were getting rid of the cats because the puppy didn't get on with them and they couldn't cope. A year later and they have a baby - guess what? Yes, they can't cope with baby and dog, so dog is now being re-homed. Wonder if they will re-home new baby, if a second baby came along?
