if this was the post about the track system then vit e deficiency
Do feed balancers tend to provide enough vit e or would they need extra supplementation? I feed mine on the bluechip calming balancer and know it includes vit e but I have no idea if that would be enough?

I looked blue chip up and couldn't find a list of ingredients so without knowing how much vit e is supplied based on the daily feeding there is no way of knowing however it is probably unlikely. Also the quality of the vit E in bluechip may not be great. Natural vit E is best and it is usually synthetic in feed balancers unless it says otherwise.

Grass normally supplies the vit E. I would look at Progressive earth nat vit E or Forage Plus do a similar one.

Have a look at the forage plus site, there is lots of info re vit E and how much to feed. I would be looking at around 2000iu per day for a lack of grass horse.
All of mine (who do have grass although limited due to weight) get supplement with 2000iu per day progressive earth natural vit e.

If you google track systems and vit e shortage you will find info as well.
