bonny - they do exist - i would bite your arm of for that job! i am currently working four jobs - two horsey, one office admin and one midnight shift and overtime at a super market and i still dont earn that much!

i'd bite your arm off but i currently love my two horsey jobs - ones a very good friend of mine who show jumps and the other is my yo on a small dressage yard so the best of both worlds unfortunatly im barely scraping together minimum wage on either job which is why i have to work the other two jobs which pay £8ph and £7ph

Cripes! I work the other way around, 5-9 most days! for far less than that, most people would love a 9-5 horsey job!

I wish I was anywhere close as I'd give anything for a horsey job with those kind of hours and pay! There's none near me!

Are you saying the job doesn't exist or the groom? I don't see how a link would show there are grooms.. And a link to a job ad could breach HHO rules.

After tax/NI & including holiday pay & paid lunch hour, or before tax?

9 - 5 = 40 hrs a week = 2080 hrs per yr.
£1k pcm = 12k pa
12k divided into 2080hrs = £5.76 per hour (before or after tax)

Sorry, but grooms round here are on £8ph on average - more if good riding ones.
Hope I havent offended but just doing calculations.

I'll do it?! Not seriously as I mostly like my job and am able to keep my gelding at the yard but if I could get a job like that in Northern Ireland I'd jump at the chance! Hope you find someone!

If I was looking I'd take it, I used to get much less when I had a horsey job! Someone will snap it up!
