...not a rub from the new boots, barely a twinge from the banjaxed hip/knee, lovely weather and a very well behaved spangle!

We're off!

Thanks for looking:)

Lovely.......boots! :D If I can be cheeky...what make? I'm after a new pair.... :D

Looks like you both had a fab day and Henry's map reading skills are most impressive :D I would still be stuck in the bramble bush though...can't resist the buggers :o :o

Lovely pics, looks like you and Henry had a fabulous walk :) Are those Brasher boots? Or did you get different ones in the end? Very glad they were so comfortable, new boots are always a nightmare!

PS - that is straw BTW not hay :p:D:D:D

Hehe, I'm liking Henrys journey in pictures! Looks like a great walk, glad you managed to find the worlds first pair of walking boots not to rub your feet raw on their first outing! :D

**Blows a raspberry at Carey**:p:p:p:p whatEVER!:D

They are Berghaus boots (think they are called Explorer GTX), couldn't find the Brasher ones I liked but these are lovely:) And so they should be, for they cost an arm AND a leg! They were very comfy, although I did have a load of blister plasters in my rucksack just in case:)

I can't afford to eat for the rest of the month, but I think they are worth it:D

On another note, Henry has just been having one of his little moments, rolling about on the floor, kicking the rug up and growling like a nutter:rolleyes: What do I have to DO to make this dog TIRED?:rolleyes::D

They are highly shiney aren't they? Still, they won't be forever:D

CC, it was great, get out there. Get in the car and go to the mountains - you can't be that far away, NI is tiny!;)
