I currently have a 9 month old Oldenburg filly who is out all day (although the paddocks are bare and just mud!) with add lib hay and stabled in the evening, again with add lib hay.
As she's getting very little grass at the moment I want to supplement her diet with some Suregrow pellets that have been highly recommended.
My question is....I know she doesn't need what the bag is suggesting I feed her but I'm not entirely sure how much to give her? I always feed my horses according to the way they look and/or work load . I can feel her ribs but she's got a round bottom and not overtly skinny. I know it's certainly more favourable to have a thinner foal than a fat one but I do think she may need a bit extra at the mo due to little or no grass in her diet.
Any experienced advice would be most appreciated! Thanks.

For our 8 month old we are just feeding 1 "baileys" mug spread over morning and night feed along with a scoop of fast fibre.
