All the hassel with the mouldy roof/dodgey door/seals etc has all been made worth it today because Ifor Williams have done one thing very well with their trailers and thats their safety designs!
We had an accident on the way home today (

driver infront thank you for just driving off when it was your fault grrr
mad.gif
) and poor Bob ended up flipped over on his back facing the wrong way all before id even had a chance to get my seatbelt off
crazy.gif
but thanks to Ifors quick release bars etc we managed to take the bars/partitions and centre beam out in what felt like 30 seconds and get Bob back on his feet before to much stress and damaged was done
ooo.gif

Im still in shock but Bob was a star he just lay there giving the occasional sigh/whicker while we rushed around him and once out he stood there perfectly calmly even with traffic still rushing past him and then! he loaded back in first time no hesitiation
smile.gif
i even spotted him munching his hay on the way back

Lastly some praise for Mark Todd travel boots, as even with all that wriggling around Bob doesnt have a single scrape (just alot of poo stains

) i just hope he hasnt done to much damage that we cant see

Driver infront slammed the brakes on, no idea why
confused.gif
so we had to do and emergency stop and everything went flying!
crazy.gif
i think Bobs back legs slipped on his (very excited runny) poo then when i saw him hed got his front legs up over the breastbar and after taht i guess he reared to get him self free but flipped over
crazy.gif
it all happened so quickly, cant imagine what passes by would have thought when they saw a horse on its back, legs up in the air!

So glad you are ok, fingers crossed hes ok, Did you manage to get the number of the car that did not stop? Have you also reported it to the police as a failure to stop?

some drivers just haven't got a clue have they

, the amount of people cutting us up when we are towing and making us slam on the brakes is unbelievable.

Not at all, we were approaching traffic light which turned green , other car moved off so we continued to approach, it stopped quicker from a slower speed and with out a trailer behind it, we didnt stop so easily despite having slowed down in anticipation of the lights possibly going red, would have been fine if they hadnt stopped so unexpectedly at a green light.

God! I'm glad to hear everyone was ok! You must have been shaking like a leaf afterwards!!

I was looking at my matting in my trailer the other day and thought that looked like it could get slippy when wet! Out of interest did you have any shavings down or just matting? I have been wondering about putting shavings on the floor in my trailer! Don't know if it would help or make matters worse.
