A bit of a shock

heard today that my friends have had to have their pony put down. They've had him since he was 4, and learnt everything they know from him, and taught him everything he knew. He came in from the field lame, looking like he'd tied up, last weekend. took them 45 minutes to get him across the field. Bloods showed nothing apart from cortisol raised. He was taken to horspital on monday, with no improvement. Nothing has touched his pain, and he was getting stressed as he couldn't move round the stable.

PM showed a fractured sacrum. No clue as to what's happened to cause it. :(

Poor thing! My friend's TB did exactly the same and had to be pts. Does make you wonder what they do to themselves when no one is watching :-(
