Sorry it's a tricky one, our 37yr old pony is at the moment on hifi senior, she has nearly finished a bag but it takes her ages to get through it. It's too soon to take her off it though so need to get her one more bag before spring.

The 13yr old shire x has also come to the end of his hifi lite and doesn't need another bag really so my question is what chaff could we feed to both of them that a) is not too low calorie for her and b) he could have a bit of just to help her get through bag so it's not sat going off all summer and then we have to chuck it!

Was thinking poss just hifi original? He would only prob get a scoop daily so would that be too fattening? (16.3hh shire x cob - was overweight in sept but now looks like a horse not a blob!)

ideas much appreciated xxxx
