Hi, I have just taken on a share horse, cob x and the owner is offering competitions etc in the summer- just low level unaffiliated dressage and the odd bit of showing. Have never done any of this before, and have no competition clothing, what would be best that could do dressage and showing jacket wise? I currently only have brown jod boots and suade chaps so will need to buy new footwear as well! Thanks

I'd go for a tweed, can't beat a good tweed jacket and in most showing classes tweed is correct :)
You'll need a coloured stock/tie (tie is correct for showing) to go with it and black long boots/ jods with gaiters.
