A collie called Murray

Thought I'd introduce Murray who will be coming to us on Friday as a foster. He'll be going to live with the parents of a lady up the stables, where he will spend his winter travelling Europe in a motor home and then summer over here in England. Not bad for a dog who was rescued from the end of a chain where the four other dogs he was living with were feeding off of the one other dog which had died. Apparently the owners had moved house and were 'going to come back for them'...
The other black collie in the picture is Ozzy, who we will possibly be fostering after Murray, so he will also be looking for his forever home.

Thank goodness for people like you who are willing to support rescue dogs and find good homes.I still cannot believe the cruelty people show towards their animals.One of my old friends had her own rescue centre for many years to which she dedicated her life.She actually developed depression as despite doing such wonderful work over the years,she found that her efforts failed to stop the cruelty continuing.She eventually sold her rescue centre to another charity,and still keeps her hand in where she can.
