Well it's been a while so excuse the rustiness, not me though but lil old git.......
Have posted a pic of her loan pony, but this is Teddy Edwards, her new best friend...

Today was their first competition, a dressage walk and trot test. As she was the in the first class, it was an early start, felt by all. especially 21 yr old Teddy. She has been more excited about this than Christmas!!

There were 8 in the class, 6 adults, and she came 7th, luckily the organizer provided rosettes for all, so here is a very happy Maddy....

I'm sure there will be more posts to follow, especially as she asked "is there a walk and trot test at the Olympics!!", watch out Carl your place may not be safe!

That's one of the cutest things I've seen for a while! Well done Maddy and Teddy :D (and watch out Carl and Charlotte ;)).

All credit to VV too for giving rosettes all the way down the order :)

As a slight aside - what's happened to the surface in the top outdoor - looks very deep and lumpy on the picture?

Ah how sweet! Love that pony, such a wise face, lucky girl and super rosette :D. But how about a Mr Old Git report too please? I have missed them! ;)

thanks ever so much everyone. she does sit well, a cracking little pony is teddy, and she was sooo excited about the test. If they hadn't done rosettes we'd have got one from somewhere. As for tips she was just incredibly calm about it. Next stop we may see if she's up to going out on the boxing day meet. As for an oldgit report..... well we'll see! Guess I could do a round upoff the past 18 months, it's been typically up and down

They both look absolutely adorable and Maddy is a great little rider. She could give me some tips for my dressage test nerves! Well done Maddy and Teddy x

Aww, gorgeous, the pair of them! And that looks like a very warm, toasty, old-fashioned hacking jacket which has kept a few budding young jockeys cosy over the years, am I right? ;) :)
