To bash my head against....

Call comes in;- Can we take a 3 year old bitch ASAP?

The reason - they'd been out and this bitch had killed their other bitch's puppies.

Appears that all doors were left open and mother of pups was found in a different room with the door closed.

Can we insist on an IQ test before anyone is allowed to breed?

I agree dickheads dont even come close, I bet they are broken hearted thinking of all that money they have lost, thats the cynic in me Im afraid.

I wouldnt stop at an iq test for breeders I would have it for everyone that has an animal.

Some one in pub advertising "springeradors" both parents out working. Asked me if I wanted one a bit cheaper as I know "the breed" so I asked about labs hips scores. They said it didnt matter as it was a cross breed.......to which point a working lab breeder over heard us, I let him take over the rest of the convo.

Litter of Rottie X Boxers on another forum- Dog the size of a rottie with a Boxers madness- NO TA!!

I kinda have one of those at the moment lol. Rotties are nuts. Only thing is they slow down with age, boxers dont. Trust me 42kg of dog bouncing about and running around a million miles per hour is exhausting lol. Found he tires quickly when doing a mornings agility though, phew.

I saw a girl selling labs on FB for £550 each and when asked about hip scores she said no, if the parents had been hip scored the pups would have been WAY more expensive, like she was doing the buyers a favour, that's amazing all of our dogs have come from hipscored parents and have cost between £200-500.

I stopped my self from buying for the man in the pub as I could have had one for £350 t crossed and I's dotted. I will not have mroe than three dogs at any time. Three is enough. Three is more than enough. Dylan takes up space and energy for two!!!

There's been an ad in our local paper for the last few nights that's made me bang my head:

"Puppydog wanted

German Shepherd
T:xxxxxxxxxxx"

Recipe for disaster? Can't help feeling they don't realise that the cute puppydog won't stay that way too long...

Whats the number? Reckon they wouldnt be able to tell Dex from a GSD

Ah...but.....GSD puppies are just the cutest! Wonder if the advertisers had thought how big and hairy these dogs get...or how bright they are normally....
