hi everyone

I am desperately seeking a livery yard anywhere near Blackpool (am happy to travel proving the livery cost isn't toooooo much).

The yard I am at has just "changed" the rules re winter turnout, and this is so important to me and my girls.

I'm beggining to think I'm asking too much...

I would ideally like:

All year turnout (doesn't have to be 24/7, just a few hours of grazing a day in winter)

Good facilities, i.e largeish outdoor school (and would prefer the option of an indoor school as in winter when it freezes I still like to ride)

Some hacking would be lovely!!! I can't seem to find a yard with "good" hacking?!

I have approx £45 - £65 per week per horse for part livery. This would include hayledge, shavings, turnout, rug changes, morning feeds/haynets, a skip out (if poss!)...

I can pay a tiny wincy bit more if the yard is perfect, but would have to pay slightly less if I need to travel further (i.e preston etc).

Am i asking too much?

Thank you all soooooo much if you have any ideas at all or know of anywhere, I really appreciate your input (... btw, we have 2 horses) xx

Hi I have moved away from the area now but I know someone who uses Elswick and says they are good...

Also Stannah horse feeds(thornton area) was a nice yard in my day... not sure if they are still doing livery or not?

Unfortunately Stannah are full (and am not sure if they do winetr turnout or not??)

I'm not sure about Elswick, have heard mixed reviews! But will give them a call...

Any other suggestions?? All ideas of yards welcome!!!! :)

thank you x

Just remembered that my sister was a long time ago at a yard on Smithy Lane, Poulton/Staining area. Think it used to belong to Jackie Rowe and maybe still does? Seem to remember it had indoor and outdoor school and nice stables, may well still be there.

Good Luck anyway. I will ask my sister who still lives in the area if she knows anywhere.

Get in touch with Luckilotti (think that's how it's spelt?) on here, she has a nice yard in that area with an indoor and im sure it's all year turn out, worth asking anyway. Think it's called Hill House Stables.

That would be great, thank you!! I've heard of Smithy Lane but am not sure of the yard... but I'll do some research!

Anyone, know anything else in case they're full? I'd like to have a few options if possible! (I don't ask for much do i!! lol)
