I only have one horse so have been looking at 3.5t as well as 5 and 6t

The only trouble is they all have an open plan area meaning the living area is going to get covered in hay or worse. anyone know of any that the living is separate?

Hi I have a 3.5t vauxhall movano, the hay doesn't bother me much but the thought of the horse jumping over the breast bar into the grooms area does.... So my plan is to make a shelf from the breast bar, into the grooms area and then up to the roof, this would solve the hay mess to :-)

Mine is as you describe but can honestly say the living doesn't get covered in hay. Most of my stuff goes up in the Luton. Never been a problem even if lorry is jam packed with gear.

I've been thinking about this as I'm looking at 3.5t's. One thing I thought would help would be to use a hay bag instead of a haynet. Think you can get boxes with a full wall there to separate the 2 areas but personally I like the idea of being able to get them out of the back door in an emergency.

You could look at the weekenders? I have a foxy twin which I highly recommend. Like others the hay 'mess' doesn't bother me, I have outdoor tack lockers so everything is in there and the one we had before the lockers were inside so everything is covered up and not getting covered in hay/snot
