The local Agricultural Society have decided to replace their wooden show jumps and lucky old me has been given the job of getting rid of the old ones. They are in generally brilliant condition, could do with repainting or at least a wash! They have been stored indoors all their lives only coming out one day a year so they aren't weathered at all. I decided to drag them all out today and try building them into fence sets as the thought is to stick them on Ebay. They are really well built solid jumps. I have been approached by one woman who would be interested in possibly taking them all but she keeps throwing the price issue back to me. The price would be that buyer collects.
Here are some photos, they aren't great as once we had pulled them all out we hardly had any space to set them up and we were on one hell of a hill!

This should have 4 poles, all cups included and the fillers do match, it was just to show both sides! There are uprights behind the wing stands too!

There are also
11 rustic poles, a mix of machined and rough
2 pairs 6ft rustic wings
2pairs 5ft rustic wings
2 pairs white 5ft wings
2 pairs of 6ft wings (1 green, 1 red)
2 uprights and 2 wings with broken feet (easily repairable)

Any ideas

Dont know how much exactly but I would imagine the poles alone are worth over £200 if they are not rotten thats without the wings, stands and fillers.
I bought a full 7 jump BSJA set a few years ago and they cost me over £1000
With a bit of TLC yours would be a good set I would imagine

Poles are absolutely perfect, the red ones in the second pic are the worst and that's just flaky paint. I've gone onto another friends jump website, taken the prices for her stands, sets etc and divided it by 3 - it would mean someone would get everything for well under a grand, thats 8 full jumps if you like with heavy fillers and stands as well as wings and poles, all the rustic poles, and 9 wing stand sets with all the cups - just wish I needed more!
 
If you sprayed them all white they would look a lot smarter, and u can get paint in a sprat bottle from ikea, youd probably get a lot more for them that way! we painted our jumps a while back and they looked a million times better!
 
Ebay them with low start price and no reserve. Maybe split them into several lots, say put the rustics together and the coloured ones together. Dont think you can easily value them tbh as it really is about what someone is willing to pay. I think you would get more for them if you sell in a few lots of maybe 3 jump sets. It is easier for people to transport a few sets lol!!


You could sell them as single fences as well but tbh this could be a nightmare for you as you would have to make sure everything is listed and you would have loads of buyers.
 
Personally I would give them all a good scrub and perhaps a fresh coat of paint if required, first impressions count to alot of people and it will add £££'s. Even if it is psychological.

Also, I would try and take better pics, perhaps take photos of them in a field as the background will be more tidy and more professional, and will make them look "tidier."
