Got a question about poo!! my mare was moved to a yard where the grazing is excellent about a month ago and as she was on quite poor grazing before i was very careful to introduce her to it carefully. but at the mo her poo is quite normal looking except ther is a little bit of runnyness that follows (i was trying to put that nicely!) so if you were to see it on her matts in the stable its quite normal looking but has a little puddle of runnyness surrounding it. Should i be worring? At the mo she is out all night in all day.

The rain and warmth that we are having at the moment is boosting the grass growth like you wouldn't believe, so you shouldn't be worrying - it's normal.

If you look at your lawn (if you have one!) you get an idea of how much the horses are getting to eat.

My starvation paddocks are producing too much at the moment, and the one I bring in to stop him from bingeing currently has 'cow pats'.
