What a total mockery of welfare....................these poor poor horses...........god knows what awaits them now.

Maybe Popov will have some form of 'justice' meted out to him by the authorities when he returns, for embarassing their country. I hope so, anyway.

Sorry to dissapoint, but it is not likely

Russian authorities have already helped him sneak away...

We do all the PR possible so that at least he is not met as a hero at home...

I don't suppose there is much more that anyone can do, then, for these horses.
At least everyone tried their best.
