A Doggy room update! *pics*

Right, I know it has been a while but it been hard fecking work, esp the grouting (don't even get me started) DG already gave poor OH a dressing down re *no knee pads* and I did help (so don't think I just stood about shouting orders out)
This was a dis-used garage where me mam dumped all her old crates or crates from the van when she needed space.
The dogs ran in and out the whole time we did anything and just trod allover

So the befores (in summer) oh how nice that was compared to being sodding freezing, wet and having me fingers freeze off!

The plan was a wahsable room from floor to ceiling for broken dogs to recover and older dogs for winter.

The floor (was paving stones)

tHE ROOM IS BIG AND i HAD TO TRY AND GET THE BEST LIGHT TO TAKE PICCIES SO NOT EASY

Getting there, cladded walls and tiles....yeah

We still need to do the skirting and finish tiling, new door, bench, and 2 walk in kennels and a unit built in to house some smaller crates (OH to do all that)

I took them pics in the dark with a ******y energy saving light bulb that takes an hour to heat up/glow up/whatever they do..........there is still alot more to do and hopefully we can do some days instead of starting at 6pm and finishing at 10pm and then I can get some descent piccies.

Lol at the underfloor heat...I think OH would become violent if I demanded anymore
I am hoping the final result looks rather clinical and very cleanable/wahsable/scrubable, I underestimated the sheer size of the fecking room there is naother oom next door to it the same size, that too has been completely cladded (I dread the tiling stage)

This is what the hoody and calendar funds raised, so a huge thankyou for those who participated and organised and the finished result should be revealed soon, I have no choice really B AND Q are having a fantastical tile sale right now

Maybe I should have said (dont fund raise) come and do the work instead

Its all coming along nicely, I suspect that the help from you came in the form of tuition on how to grout that floor whilst keeping him going by the odd cup of tea/coffee if the poor s*d was lucky

I still think getting people to pay a £5 for a tile is good fundraising tactic and will get on your site later to buy one, dont wipe you feet on my tile though because I will know.

Cheeky mare I do all the labour....propper hard graft......cleaning all that grout off and humping and lifting bags of sand and cement from van to doggy room (it was back breaking)

I did I tell you....OH has a bad back after spinal surgery, me mam is a cripple and her OH is a midget with no strength, so I grinned and bared it lol and humped the lot, I even droped a box of tiles and smashed them to pieces and broke a trolley things that is meant to allow you to push such things for ease...however I my have overestimated it's max weight allowance and 10 boxes seen the thing crumble before my eyes

You should have videoed that and sent it to youve been framed you could have earned £250 for your rescue, that made me laugh hope that wasnt my tile you broke.
