He sounds like a 'once in a life time' horse. Thanks for sharing his life story with us. Brought tears to my eyes. I have lost 3 ( a horse, a pony and a dog this year) so can feel your pain. You'll remember the good times. My thoughts are with you.
He sounds like a brilliant horse and he looks amazing in that picture for such a old man. A real credit to you. It is very sad but at least you know he's not in pain anymore

He sounds & looks like he was a fantastic horse, and a very lucky one to have spent so many years in a loving home. Try to remember him with smiles, he's more than worth them.

Sorry to hear that he was PTS but he had a really interesting life and ended up in a great home. You did right by him and am sorry for your loss especially when he was such a nice horse, which makes it all seem harder.But he did have a very interesting life. Amazing story.

I am so sorry to hear he has gone, but he obviously had a great life with you, and such a grand age to reach. What amazing memories you have of him. He looks stunning in that photo, and you should be very proud. I know it hurts to lose these old characters, but treasure all those sweet memories, He'll always be there x
