Video from last weekend. Not the test I won as the camera died, so this was taken on my phone.

We got 62% and I dont know where we finished.

Look out for the pony club kick

shame we didnt get our mediums = damn pony turned out he needed a pee

one of these days he will get all his toilet duties over and done with before we go in.

Dont usually put many vids up so thought you might like to see the big man

Winston Hunters

Thanks honey. I am lucky that he is very rideable and sane, actually the spookier the venue the better.
Just a shame he wasnt like he was the week before where he was so off the leg. He was trying to offer but something was holding him back... now we understand it was the pee, as he had a huge long one after the test

I guess its better than at Abbey the first time, when he stopped mid test for a poo

Oh good couldnt open it on facebook....

ETS.. nicely forward if not a bit too forward in canter circles and a little unbalanced and maybe if im picky just coming behind the vertical.... but as usual one of my favourite horses...

Thanks Hils, useful info

I have a bad habit of chasing throughout my test instead of just riding each bit quietly. I remembered this 2 minutes into my first test, and the marks got higher, so I need to remember this when I go in rather than halfway through.

Might be up your neck of the woods in a few weeks, please come and say hello

both times youve come to help Ive had my best results lol you can be my lucky charm

How is the upstart?

Shall pm you

Still an upstart. Going well, a bit too well, trying to convince me he's ready to start going out again. I am resisting haha. Winston can enjoy some of the glory for a change.

Or is it just because Im brilliant?? Let me know when and where and if you want to do another test riding session let me know..

What can I say - one person's "chasing the test" is another person's riding forwards... I love your horse and though I am no dressage diva it is lovely to see someone riding a test so forwards (I wish I would - I am one of those people who try to showjump with a half-ar*ed "dressage canter"...)

You look fantastic and I am jealous.

Ooo that would be helpful.
Pen is coming over hopefully next week for supper, we could have done it then? and then off to the pub after?

Oh bless you, thank you

The video does look a little speedy, its not quite so quick on my phone vid.
Its funny cos I can really nail the collected canter at home, but as soon as I go to a show although not nervous I kinda think I need to get the test over and done with and ride too fast.
It was only mid test in the first test that I realised and took a deep breath and relaxed and let him go along at his natural pace.
