A dullards Q about passports from wpcs.

Am looking to get a passport from the welsh etc society. Is it the same as registering? That's all it talks about on their site ??

Is the pony already registered with them or is it a foal for a first passport if a foal it is the same as registration.

If you want your pony passported with the WPCS good luck to you, they're very slow and very obstructive.

Assuming it's a youngster you have, then you'll need to send off for a microchip and they'll send you the application forms. You get your vet to implant the chip and fill in one part of the form. You'll need a covering certificate too. Check, double check and triple check everything you send and get a signature at the other end because they're very good at losing/not yet receiving stuff.

Thanks to you both. It's a foal that we bred at home so no covering certificate. He's a 25% part bred.
