Both me, my new mare and my mum (she registered as owner of my last pony, if that makes sense) are all still currently registered with BSJA. I would like to jump affiliated with my mare soon as we are gettin on very well- so where do we go from here? Does my mum just need to register herself as owner of my mare? totally baffled!

Oh, and another question regarding BN second rounds- my mare has qualified with her old owner- does that mean i can take her to the second rounds? thanks

you need to be joined as a junior associate member so that you can ride on horses in senior classes. Your mum has to register as an owner if she isnt already and Tara will just stay registered until it runs out.

sorry not sure about the BN question though have a feeling you can take her

Yup, if the horse is qualified you can take her to 2nd rounds

That's what i got told when i was going to buy that palomino ages ago, as he had qualified already

Yes you can jump her in the second round.

If you put the mare in your mums name if it is a Horse its is going to cost you £64 to reg her for the year. If the old owners don't mind keep jumping her under their name until her reg runs out and save your self some money.
