A few Cubbing Questions!

1. Do you keep your horse in the night before?

2. How much preparation do you do? Full bath or just a groom? Do you clean your tack?

I keep in overnight mainly as I can't be bother catching in a 5.30am!!! We are currently meeting at 7am which is unusually late for us! I bath and clean tack, its hunting without plaits IMO.

We left Jay out, but had to catch him in the dark at 4.30am, luckily he came over to us. We didn't bath him, but he is a clean horse anyway. I would have bathed him had he been dirty or stained.

Daughter gave tack a wipe over the night before and I put a clean saddlecloth on.

Out meet was at 6am. It will get a bit later as the weeks go on.

Judging by last Sat's Autumn Hunting, meeting at 6.15am, sunrise was approx 5.50 am.

I bath/groom night b4 and if not too hot put lightweight rug on as I leave out (grey horse). Clean tack, boots and numnah every time ride so not issue. Hardest bit is keeping beige breeches clean!

Depends on your horse. As long as you and your horse are clean and smart, (and well mannered of course) you should be fine!

Around here, sunrise is 6:35, but it gets light about 20 minutes before that

We are meeting at 7am ATM which seems quite late haha.

Also I full bath and clean tack although. I have no option other than a full bath with the filthy coloured! The bay boy isn't so bad and may just get a good groom and white bits washed
