Wondered when you'd get your report up! Love the water sequence, the rail was pretty high on it compared to what I've seen before but doesn't look like Saffy was particularly bothered by it anyway. The pics from the HOYS qualifier look like the fences were pretty darned big too, be a great warmup for the Fox final at RHS.

And I can confirm having said hello to him that Mick is HUGE lol! But very sweet with it, he will be a brill horse for someone!
 
JenniferB - was good to catch up on Sat. I think Mick looks bigger as he's such a solid dark brown - my favourite colour :) His owner is nowhere near A's height and has had a ball with him.

Where are you off to next? Will you make it through to RHS?
 
Fab report and photos, I think Saf found a Sky hook with that front leg to assist over the water tray for her first go. Very clever little mare.

Good to catch up, just a shame that we managed to miss each other's rounds! Ended up tied up with various bits and bobs on Sunday so didn't make it across for the HOYS as planned.

Think B will be having a couple of quiet weeks because it's always a bit quiet round the Highland and I want him to have a bit of a breather before we start the run up to Blair - planning on getting in as many rounds as I can afford/can sweet talk anyone to take me along to before then. Very doubtful that I'll make it up to the RHS - it's such an expensive day out and I would just end up spending a fortune at the trade stands so you'll need to make sure you video A's round!
 
Mick is very appealing and looks like he would do an eventing job if he fancied it ;) And Saffy is the cutest little miget on springs I've seen in ages - thinking about it, a friend had a 15.3 mare called Saffy she evented up to 3* then she (mare not friend) lost her bottle a bit and went SJ, she's not the same one is she?! :p Seems unlikely as friend is based in Devon :p :D

No, def not the same horse as this one would terrify herself, the rider and jump judges by going sky high over everything xc. I can just imagine her trying to jump the entire water...! :D
