Seems to be the day for asking....

Ruby has had a poorly tum for a few days (D and V) and is off to the vet this evening just to make sure theres nothing really horrid going on inside. She is seriously unimpressed that I starved her for 24 hours and that she is now having rice by the tablespoon full rather than the bowl full!

If you could think of her at 6 oclock that would be nice.

Thanks for your kind thoughts everyone.

Back from the vets with antibiotics (just in case) probiotics (just in case) and a worming tablet (just in case!). She has a slightly raised temperature and her tummy is 'a bit squidgy' (I love our vet, bless her) which doesnt really narrow down the cause but knowing what spangles are like its probably something she has eaten!

We have another appointment for monday afternoon for a check.

Ruby was not happy about the thermometer but her mood is much improved by the news that she can have very very small meals every two hours - rice, chicken and scrambled eggs!

Typically once we got home having spent £60 she went in the garden and squeezed out something that vaguely resembled poo rather than a puddle!

{{{{{Vibes}}}}} to Ruby and I hope it continues onwards and upwards.

{{{{{Hugs}}}}} to you, I agree that their timing about when to improve, sometimes really isn't when it is best for neither our mental health/nerves or our wallets.

Mollichop she is manic - back to normal - no actual 'output' yet and she is flippin' hungry!!! I am trying to explain that once a normal poo comes out she can have bigger meals .... Im not getting the message through!!

All back to normal again over the weekend although Im going to finish the ABs and the probiotics. Cancelled the follow up appointment as vet felt it would be a waste of time given how well Ruby is feeling now!
