..a bounding pulse. In over 30 years of being around horses I have never felt one before.

My friend's pony needed the vet this morning. I checked him over when I got to the field and his pulse in his hind legs were really pronounced.

You do learn new things very day. Pony had temperature and after blood test showed he has an infection. The pulses could have been as a result of the fever.

I've yet to feel pulses. I must be looking wrong, cause my "lami" mare (vet diagnosed by looking at a video not the mare) has none. My farrier said she hasn't got lami.

We got our vet to come to the yard and arranged all the liveries to be here and the vet round each horse showing us all where and how to fell pulses.
