Does anyone know if horse charities may like donations in kind, for example of rugs and tack (used but in good condition)?

And where can one find a comprehensive list of UK rescue centres/horse charities?

A lot do. Anything they can't use they sell! On my forum, we regularly have organised 'rug runs' to help Equine Market Watch. People in one area who are travelling to the area of the EMW sanctuary pick up donations of rugs and tack on their route - it's a nice little earner! http://www.mediawebz.co.uk/emwuk.org.uk/
