A fun post, your perfect horse

Tiggy - I had her. She was 15.2hh IDxTB four and a half year old Apaloosa (I can never spell that word!). Would have had her a hand bigger, but then might have lost something about her

. I loved her.

I'd have an unusual coloured gelding ... either a very light dun with dark mane and tail, or appaoloosa (sp) or cremello.

He's be about 15hh, around 8yrs old and would be perfect for baby eventing (as in 2'3 - 2'6 jumps!!), he'd enjoy dressage and he'd be a wizzy little jumper!

And he'd be called either 'Bob' or 'Freddie'!!

I pretty much have my perfect horse, I would make him an easier ride in the school, make him braver hacking alone and good to lunge though

He's a 14.3hh, buckskin, unregistered Welsh Cob gelding with four white stockings and a white face. One of his eyes is half blue and he has a belly splash.

He's good to catch, shoe, load and in heavy traffic, a safe hack and a bit of an all round type who is good to handle if a little cheeky and has nice paces, but he lacks competition experience so if he had some of that he'd be perfect

Or I'd have either a 14.2hh, mouse dun Highland or 14.2hh Gypsy Cob that was buckskin and white or roan and white, that could compete in all RC activities and show at county level but was a safe hack and good to catch etc

Ellie is my perfect horse in pretty much every way. BUT, if I were to design the horse of my dreams (lol, this is all very hypothetical!!!) the only things I would change about her would be to make her good to catch

, to delete her one white sock (I love horses with solid black legs!) and to make her a bit younger. I've had her since she was 5yrs old, but I'd have loved to have known her as a foalie. And of course, with her being 14 now I just want to roll back the years and have her with me as long as possible!

When I was a kid, I always wanted a golden palomino with a pure white mane and tail, and a big white diamond star

I'd mix my two together i'd have the ability, size, endless scope and looks of my westphalian 16.2 and the brain and desire to please of my 14hh and also his desire to clear fences and then i'd want it to be 6 or 7 years old.
