Just a wee shout out to old Peggy Sue. She doesn’t feature much here as she’s old and lives a quiet life but this week me mummy hen has been harassing her for her breakfast and Peg doesn’t even flinch. She doesn’t pull faces or threaten to kick her. She just lets her cluck away around her whilst she eats. She is and always has been the best wee pony. 76F7027D-5403-459A-9DB8-2E7FD032441C.jpeg

What a beautiful lady you are Peggy Sue ? and Archie too!

We have had a perfectly balanced week between cheeky mischief and being a sweet and lovely child, which is Perfect Pony Status imo.

My Archie will let anyone share his feed too, chickens, wild birds, dogs, other horses. The only things not allowed near his feed when he's eating are humans!

Becuase he's so unthreatening, most horses will let him share their feed too. I've never met a horse who can get what he wants like Arch can, despite him being bottom of the pecking order. He's a social genius.

Bless her! Don’t think that chicken would last long round my lot!

My gem of a pony today was my son’s 5yo, backed last June, who kindly looked after my not-so-confident daughter while her brother rode our newest one on her first hack. He was desperate to come too, and daughter’s pony was happy eating grass, so off we went!
