A good idea? What does everyone think?

Ok, so....

Having noticed theres a fair few posts about owners struggling to find a suitable sharer or stories of people who have well over estimated their ability to be a sharer. Or the annoying ones that join specifically to make one post saying "i'm looking for a horse to share...yadda yadda yadda..." and then never post anything else.

I was thinking maybe we could have a section for people looking for share arrangments. I've seen it on another forum and it would probably be better on here as there are much more members.

Its not quite advertising, is it?! (not sure)

Any thoughts on this one? (just a random idea i had)

not sure how it would help out with this problem but in every other way a great idea.

i meant that people seem to have quite a few stories of people turning up who clearly dont have a clue. i thought maybe through the forum you can tell a little more about the prospective sharer through what sort of thing they post etc.
it probably not going to get rid of the problem completely but it might help.

I got my wonderful sharer from here, and that was by posting on her "arrg" thread. So as I said earlier, it does sound good and I agree it will help a lot of people out. It is almost like the HHO bit bank!
