We are quick to moan about a bad service but not so quick to praise when we have received a good service- so here goes.

This year I have had two very bad experiences by 2 different so called saddle fitters, it left me with a very bitter taste in my mouth.

New horse old saddle not fiting scenerio, so back on the trail for a good honest reliable fitter and did I find one - Oh Yes.

I had out yesterday in the most horrid of conditions Jo Beavis from the National Saddle Company, nothing was too much trouble, spent ages with me explaining what she was doing and what she was looking at and for.

I did find one saddle very comfortable and it wasn't as cheap as the others that she had ear marked for me, while it felt soo comfortable for me she noticed that whilst riding it didn't sit still on my horses back and therefore wouldn't sell it to me.

What a refreshing change, after trying out a few more I did up my budget somewhat and bought a really nice saddle.

Pointless post really but so pleased to have finally found a saddle fitter that I can trust.

That is good that you have been able to find a good fitting saddle. I have just been back to a saddle fitter after my horse has changed shape since having a new one fitted about 5-6 mths ago. She was very good and gave me a really good price on mine because I went back to her.
I have had a couple of iffy experiences with so called saddle fitters so I know exactly what you are about.

Definately, I can't believe how many have had bad experiences with so called master saddlers.

Glad you found a good one too.
