After reading a post regarding somones horse lying in its poo and getting its rug dirty, (sprry cant remember who it was) I decided to have words with my mare last night at bed time.. She has had her rug less than 1 week and it looks like its 3yrs old.. So last night i had a little chat with her and explained that lying inher own poo was not nice and it maybe she should think about pooing in a seperate corner from where she lies down... LMAO went to put her out this morning.. she had pooed in a different place and it hadn't been slept on.. how cleaver is my horsey!! I live in hope that this continues.. howerver no doubt she will come in tonight covered in mud and poo.. just to make a point!

Maybe I should try that. My horse is on box rest and is amusing himself by making his stable even more disgusting every day. If I have a word with him do you think he might leave his poo in a pile for me?

Nah...tried all that with mine and does not work...he gets a wry little smile and twinkle in his eye as if he is thinking up ways to be even naughtier!!! Either that or the 'shutters come down' and he glazes over in his 'stop nagging' look!!!! And no...I am not talking about my OH!
