a good under rug for turnout ?

the liners for rambo duos are worth thinking about. I have a duo, but use the liners under stable rugs. They have a strong velcro fastening at front and clips at the back which you can fasten to the fillet string loops on any rug, and come in a range of thicknesses. I have the 100 and 200g and I fit both into a standard washing machine.
 
I tend to use something like a weatherbeeta lightweight stable rug as they can be thrown in the machine (when my OH isn't looking

I have been dribbling over my dress cricle sherpa rug I tried this weekend - its such a nice rug and incredibly cosy, also means the belly is covered, so less mud!!
 
Hiya - I agree the Duo really good as both mine have them now so much easier! However if you're not wanting to fork out that sort of money The best advice I ever got was just to make sure its another turnout rug - that way if it slips, or if it hangs down it won;t soak right through to the skin.

I tend to use one of my summer turnouts as its all about layering thin then thick (or so I'm told!

) It seems to work and they were always toastie warm.

i use an amigo LW stable rug under many different turnout rugs and its fab. fits well, stays put, and washes in a machine

was just thinking that he's in his HW at night already (weatherbeta takka) so was just looking for emergency measure when it actually gets REALLY cold lol!!!
 
Ihave a duo liner 100g under a amigo summer turnout at the mo....... Its too warm to use the rambo outer and a liner 200g at the least and I dont want my rambo to get all greasy, so will save it till the weather gets colder and i can use it with the liner anyway!
