Well Tara has been home for a day now, and last night was heartbreaking. She looked so miserable, her legs wouldn't work and she wasn't very happy about eating anything. We had started toying with the idea that if she wasn't much better with the meds by Sunday, Monday would be the day.
However....this morning she wasn't much different, off I went to the yard and when I came back, her ears were up, eyes were brighter and she was mooching round, seeming much, much stronger on her legs!
She's since eaten 2 chicken fillets, a small bowl of liver, a bit of pork and half a pack of garlic sausage - we're just feeding her whatever she will eat, little and often basically.
She told the postman off, went out for a tiny walk just round our close and spent the afternoon lay outside (in the rain
)
She's fast asleep again now, but seems so much happier.
I know she is never going to be cured, but to see her like this makes me feel so much happier
Fingers crossed the meds are making her feel more comfortable.
