Beacon had annular ligament syndrome, and 9 weeks later we are back jumping again and WOW so far jumping better than ever too.

Amazing how fast he has healed, but it did help I caught it VERY early and he wasn't even lame.

Well done. It pays dividends to take note of what our horses are telling us, and pick up on things very early.
Great news that he is back to jumping so soon.
 
Great post thanks, gives me hope!! Although sadly my mare managed to actually damage the annular ligament and the superficial digital flexor tendon with an impact injury in the field (my vet still can't understand how!!), so her route to hopefully soundness is going to be a much longer one! 21 weeks since injury so far and have another 17 weeks of paddock rest till her next scan, when hopefully I can start to bring her back. Her last scan showed things are going in the right direction and annular ligament is looking good, just have to wait for the tendon to catch up!

Anyway all the best and hope your horse stays sound for you. Totally agree that the sooner you catch things, the better. Unfortunately for me, my mare did as much damage as possible to herself - was 110% sound in the morning and lame when she came in.
 
He had what looked like a large windgall, it was warm. Thats all there was but I knew it wasn't normal.

Rested for a week and no better so rang vet and said 'I know all the it could be this or that, will you scan it' he said he will be lame, it will just be minor, but when he trotted him up I was right lol he did scan which showed very minor lesions to ddft and annular ligament.
