Following on from Sols post got me thinking about why not have a happy thread to cheer up the board :)

So post anything lately horsey or non horsey which is enough to have a feel good vibe and make you smile!

Mine would be today, jumped 1m35-40ish in a decent fashion...which is the highest I've been brave enough to do in a loooooon while! And went on a lovely hack after :)

Over to you lovely lot :D

great idea- need something to cheer us all up! :D
well done! :)
mine isnt major..but it made me smile!
i crept into my ponies stable tonight, whilst he was asleep, and was giving him cuddles, and he was nuzzling me back! it made me smile so much because we have had a tough day, and both got frustrated! so it was nice to know there were no hard feelings. :D

Found out today that the fields I need in 2 weeks time for the fun ride I organise have now been cut! We have a route!!!! Now just gotta hope the farmer doesnt get his plough out!!!

Aw, isn't that the best feeling ever :) I love giving B his cuddles in bed too. Can tuck right in between his front legs :D

Wooot congrats Benson :) *fingers crossed for you*

Herbie gave me a great big sloppy kiss today while i was grooming him. :) Made a nice change from being bitten or having his back legs in my face :p :D :D
Also he was good for the farrior and I started teaching him to bow. Which he is picking up quite quickly. :) :)

I am happy that I have moved into a lovely little flat in preparation for starting a new job.

I am happy that on Friday my horse will be joining me, staying at a fantastic yard with miles and miles of off road riding!

:)

I am on my second full day with no painkillers and I am having a lovely time in the IOW where I have become fully healed. I cannot wait to go home to see and lunge the Jim (will give myself one more week before I ride again) and I have done loads of my NVQ so should be finished this week too. I get to meet my baby (3 month old) cousin tomorrow. I will get pics. and get to me my other cousins bump (hopefully a girl this time). Life is looking good.

:D

Glad you're getting better BayB!

Roo -No prob, he looks it! Yep me with the Hairy cob haha :) And my ankle's all cleared up now and riding again so happy bunny! However, I then consequently got beaten up by a breaker on saturday...Got kicked off and then double barrelled in the shin and hip, so have been sporting a variety of bruises! Haha :) Have an awesome photo of it midair kicking me and it all on vid too. LOL. :p

I was going to go to unaff SJ last night, but didn't leave work in time so I asked my sister to school us on the flat at home. We had a really good session, working on his canter transitions and getting his hocks under him.

he found it hard work but he didn't have a tantrum, just tried for me! :D
I promised him we'll go to the SJ next week!

My girlie was soooo sweet and cuddly when I went up to check her yesterday (she's having a few days off after eventing.) Brought her in for a good grooming session, which she loves but she's never normally very cuddly or affectionate but yesterday she was so lovely :) Made me :D

These are all great, what a lovely idea for a post!

I successfully prepared a 3 course dinner party last night. It went well, incredibly well in fact considering I had never even cooked a 2 course meal before, and my food was such a hit that 4 of the 5 people who came proposed to me... they are my female horsey friends so I turned 'em all down, but hey ho!

Riding wise, although I didn't ride yesterday, at the moment I feel to have made a HUGE breakthrough with my riding and every lesson I have I come out of smiling and greatly improved. I hope I can keep it up. (I also love the fact my riding instructor is also one of my best friends, who I feed, take on holiday and help with her ponies in return for unlimited free riding lessons! Well, at least 'till I go to university)

Great post! Glad to hear everyone has something to smile about!

I am happy that I have restored confidence in my riding after my weekend in Ireland, jumped things I wouldnt have dreamed of at the start of this year! I also rode my horse of the year, but :( that I had to leave him behind!

Im happy that only 1 1/2 months till I get my riding horses back from their holiday and that I only have 15 working days left in my current horrible job before starting a new one!
