In the blink of an eye, 35 years plus of horse owning has come to an end today. Lulu went to her new home and it marks the end of an era.
I have turned to the wonderful community on here on many occasions and you’ve offered advice, kind words, inspiration and a kick up the backside when I’ve needed it. To each and everyone of you, please know I’m incredibly grateful. I wish you all the very best and please take care. ???

As one door closes, another opens...35yrs is truly an episode never forgotten.
I hope this era ending, although im sure its bittersweet, will bring you a new era as enchanting as horses.

(but please do pop in to cheer us on in the winter as we slip ‘n’ slide in the mud…we can post you some if you miss it ?? )

You don't have to leave! I gave up earlier this year no intention to even ride again and still come on here!

I stick mostly to clubhouse as I've no interest in the horse stuff but haven't felt I need to leave despite no longer being horsey

P.d if you're like me you definitely won't miss it!

I'm in the 'please don't leave us' camp!

35 years is a heck of a long time of horse ownership, and I have also loved reading your input on this forum.

I always remember the words of my old manager after we had just had a round of redundancies: "The only problem is, when people leave, they take all their knowledge with them and you have lost it forever"

Good luck with the caravan @cblover - and we look forward to hearing of your new adventures! :)

There are a few good eggs on here and I agree with the ladies above, always someone looking for help or advice, you might know something we don't, contrary to belief on here , there isn’t anyone that knows everything ?

I just sold my tourer as we weren’t using it, so when the time is right will probably get a campervan ?

Have we seen the puppy ???

It wouldn't be so bad if they didn't leave such a darned huge horse-shaped hole. I hope you can fill the void quickly with interesting things to do and respect for your timing - just as the worst of the horse-owning weather is arriving!!!

I sold up a couple of years ago and have still been hanging onto everyone's coat tails! It's a good reminder of why i don't currently have one!!

Looking forward to seeing your new adventures - plenty of doggy photos please!
