Hello! I haven't posted on here for quite a while, for various reasons, but I have still been lurking and enjoying everyone's posts.
For those of you who remember me, Morris Man is still going strong, as is the Ginger Ninja Rudi! I have also made a move over to the dark side and started doing pure dressage with a *proper* dressage pony!
So, one of the main reasons that I haven't posted on here for a little while, is that during the latter part of last year, I made the extremely tough decision to split from my husband and business partner and start up a yard on my own. I spent last year working in an office with no windows, so you can imagine how driven I was to get out of there and start full time with horses! I put a strong business plan into place and worked my butt off, and thankfully, it's REALLY paying off now. Yes, most days are 15+ hours, and yes, I struggle to find time to even brush my hair, but goodness me... I'm SO much happier. I am extremely lucky with my yard, my horses and my clients... Life is good, but if you want it, you gotta work for it!
Anyway, enough of that.. here are a few pics to brighten up the post of the ponies I am so very lucky to have in my life:
Obviously, the first one on the list is Morris! Looking rather keen here at his first proper run of the season at Dauntsey last month. We're heading to Wellington Intermediate on Monday, then SoE 2*.. then MAYBE... Little Downham ADVANCED... OMG.

And a bit more stylish in the SJ!

Then we have the gorgeous ginger, Rudi.. this was during his eventing come back (after 18 months off recovering from a suspensory injury), when he only went and WON on 21.5!

And this gorgeous girl is my super DOOPER dressage pony, Legs, who belongs to a lovely Italian couple:

There's a bit of a long story behind Legs, but the short version is that this time last year she was 'unridable' and dangerous. She was almost PTS because of this. Today, she did a schoolmistress lesson for my new groom, who had never sat in a dressage saddle before, let alone on a proper dressage pony! A lot of love for this gorgeous girl.
And now for my little plea... You might know that H&H are about to launch Equo Events and have been running a competition to become an ambassador. Well, yours truly has actually been SHORTLISTED for this amazing role! I NEVER enter these things so you can imagine my total and utter surprise when I got the email telling me I was going through to the next stage!
Now, the next stage is public voting and here's where I really need a bit of help...
If you don't have family or friends in the running to be an ambassador for the South West, pretty please could you take 2 seconds and pop a vote in for me? I would absolutely LOVE the opportunity to work with Equo, and it might just be the boost my little business needs to help us get to the next stage. AND we'd get a regular blog spot on H&H.. Although I'm pretty sure Morris thinks this is just for his 'fans'.
Anyway, my video that we had to do in the first round is here:

And the link for voting is here:

Any votes would be HUGELY appreciated!
Thank you SO much for taking the time to read this, if you got this far!
