A quick hello from Winston, for those who don't know him he is the cocker ~I adopted off Cayla.
He does this when you go bang bang, I think he looks beautiful!
We went beating and he was a star! We got invited last minute to go beating on the moor that my boyfriend's sheep live on. So he was used to gathering sheep on it. I was given a few concerned looks when they asked if we got out much and I said it was his first time! He was off the lead the whole day, came back every time when asked, didn't mind guns, flushed out a fair few grouse, left rabbits that ran around him and even was listening a bit to directions (me sheepdog whistling and waving arms about!). He even got tired but it was that last reallly hot wekend and jumping through heather is tiring!
We had some nice comments off the shooters and off the man running it, he said they could do with some sane cockers down south and that they sometimes go mad first time!
