I may have to sell my horse, if it comes to it could you give me an idea of what I could reasonably expect to get for him?

16.3hh 11 yr old bay gelding ex racer flat and jump weatherbys reg
Hack alone and in company, will jump but needs further schooling on this
superb in the school, really fantastic canter and coming into an outline nicely. Would suit dressage person!!! lovely nature doesnt kick/bite etc, loves fuss! Good doer, lovely responsive ride with brakes. Does have the odd tb moment but overall a lovely ride. would come with all tack/rugs-vacs will need restarting though.

I'd say 2500, if he's a quiet hack and will go out alone and is also happy (I'm assuming) to load/catch etc he'd probably suit someone who wants to do RC dressage and hacking. You'd probably want to aim him at this market more than jumping because at his age people probably wouldn't want to start teaching him stuff.

Probably £1500 and you might struggle at that.

A friend of mine has an 11yo chestnut tb mare at that price (placed local RH and dressage classes) that she hasn't yett managed to sell
