because of my marriage break up im selling my horses, i really dont know how to value the gelding, i done a post a while back and some people said as much as 6k but in the current market and i know know he has allergies what would you guys value him at??

16.3 warmblood 12 years old
perfect to..
load
farrier
vet
traffic
catch
handle

hes been used as a beginners horse for the past year and is the sort that really looks after hes rider, is deffinatly a confidence giver.

BUT hes also really well schooled and kids that have never had a lesson have jumped over 4foot, which he jumps like its a tiny jump.

the downside
he has allergies to a ton of stuff, BUT hes been blood tested and i have the results, hes reaction is to itch ive now got this undercontrol and theres no itching, it is easy to manage and barring a de itch supplement and food thats free of certain things he doesnt need any thing special so it wouldnt be a problem if it was somebodies 1st horse.

so what do we value him at. i will sell him as 100% condfidence giver, or suitable for a novice

I have a lady I teach on my Dressage gelding, she is quite a novice but not at all nervous, she has a partner whom is very competent, she is looking for a 1st horse/schoolmaster type to just love, groom and hack with her partner on the Moor initially then as she improves she would like to do low key dressage etc. If you are interested I will give her a call for you as she is only 20 miles from Exeter!

yes deffinatley, max is very well schooled, halfpasses, flying changes etc, hes an amazing horse, not just me being biest, but hes the sort u never think youd find, so kind and forgiving, but if you want to have some fun then hes for it aswell. i often swear that he doesnt know how to so much as buck. hes not fizzy, doesnt get hyper if not ridden for weeks, lives in or out, will stay on hes own. clips, when the vet took the bloods for the allergie testing he was in the field with just a rope around hes neck.

unfortunatly my great nan died to day so im off to london for a couple of days. if shes intrested shes more than welcome to come and see him. im in ide, if shes local id let her have a trial of him first but would have to stay on my yard. feel free to pm me with her number and i will give her a call next week.
