Now I know there is a currency difference here but it doesn't really make a whole lot of difference; horses tend to be the same in $'s as they are in £'s so forget about the currency symbol when answering.
I have this little guy. He is a Registered Black Purebred Canadien Horse. He is by the top bloodlines in this breed society and I have been trying to find comparable youngsters to try to price him but I haven't been able to find ones with such high calibre bloodlines.....however once I finally get my butt into gear and compose the advert for him (sometimes this takes me a month or so to get round to) I want to sell fairly quickly and can't be bothered with timewasters for a young horse like this.
Anyway the figure for the Canadiens that I have found advertised range from about $2,500 for a reg. chestnut one and seem to go up to around $5,500 for a reg. black.
Now I am not greatly fussed about what I get for him but I don't want to underprice him too much as you know how that can sometimes put people off a little.
He is 11 months old, registered black, is microchipped and vaccinated, good with farrier and vet etc. He's a bit of a bolshy little beggar but is also quite affectionate. He stands about 14.1hh at the moment and will likely make 15.2hh (average size). He's a nice little horse but I am not the slightest bit interested in him and think he should go sooner rather than later.
So what figure would you advertise him at please? Here's a rubbishy photo of him taken this morning....obviously I certainly wouldn't be using this photo in his advert LOL!!
